Gradings
The Club holds gradings every three months, our grading examiner is Sensei Frank Brennan 6th Dan who is the former World Champion and maintains very high standards in all aspects of Karate.
Club gradings are up to 1st Kyu (Brown and White belt), Dan gradings (Black Belt) are taken by Karate Union of Great Britain Chief Instructor Sensei Andy Sherry 8th Dan at various locations around Britain throughout the year.
Course and Grading
Largs Karate Club will be holding a course and grading with Sensei Frank Brennan (7th Dan) on Friday 11th June 2010
Venue : Largs Academy Games Hall, 25 Flatt Road, Largs, KA30 9JX (last entrance on the left at the top of the hill, drive around the back of the building)
Course times : All grades - 7:15 pm to 8:30 pm
Black and Brown belts continue - 8:30 pm to 9:00 pm
(White-Purple & White belt- rest)
Grading time : All grades (up to Brown & White belt) -9:00 pm to 10:30pm
Course only : £5.00
Course and grading : £15.00
Students wishing to grade must train on the course prior to the grading and must hold a valid KUGB licence
